The articles on these websites are indexed by Google, Yahoo, MSN, and others. Then when people search topics matching your article, your article shows up in the list.
People click the link, enter their payment information, and download the book.
It's that simple, but, of course, there's more to it in practice. You have to find the right market, subject, and write an eBook people want to buy!
